As our loved ones ages, it can be a difficult journey to navigate. Our goal is to encourage independence, provide comfortable care, and promote quality of life. We intend on doing this through C.A.R.E.:

C COMMUNICATE efficiently. Our goal is to be an effective liaison between designated family members and the resident’s medical team. Every resident has a daily report binder where we detail how much is consumed at each meal, how often they go to the bathroom, what activities they perform and if there is any changes physically or behaviorally. Each caregiver is provided a detailed summary of each resident’s diagnosis, physical and mental capabilities, food allergies/diet requests as well as activity preferences.

A ATTENTION to Details: During registration, we are given a complete appraisal of each resident’s current status. If there are particular foods they enjoy or a time of day they like to walk outside, we do our best to accommodate. We also ensure that our facilities are properly maintained and managed well.

R RESPECT our roles. Every resident has a team of people ensuring they are getting the best care possible. From our caregivers, home health agencies, physicians, beauticians, family and friends, there is a team that all play important roles. As a smaller facility we develop strong and trusting relationships with our residents and their family/friends. Our focus is to maintain their independence, strengthen their spirits and ensure quality of life.

E EMPATHIZE with each individual. Many of our residents lived long and extraordinary lives. Our staff is trained to work with memory loss, physical disabilities and end-of-life care. We focus on compassion and empathy as our residents transition to a more dependent lifestyle.
